Dass die Ansiedlung in Sinich und nicht wie urspr\u00fcnglich geplant in Marling entstand, ist dem massiven Widerstand der Meraner Fremdenverkehrskreise zu danken. Billige Arbeitskr\u00e4fte aus Oberitalien und billiger Strom aus S\u00fcdtirol erleichterten das Vorhaben. Es entstand die gr\u00f6sste Stickstofffabrik Italiens. Und mit der Fabrik wuchs auch das auf dem Reisbrett angelegte Arbeiter-D<\/span><span>orf, <span> <\/span>in dem die Bewohner mit allem versorgt wurden.
